The plain-English version

GuiltTrip is comedy entertainment — an AI character makes a disclosed, consented, recorded roast call. Everyone on a call is 18+, informed, and opted in. No harassment. Refunds within 2 taps of asking. Not financial, medical, or legal advice — obviously.

A comedy entertainment service operated by RETHINK DESIGN LLC, doing business as GUILT TRIP ("GuiltTrip," "we," "us") — these terms are a contract between you and RETHINK DESIGN LLC. An AI character — always disclosed as AI — places a roast call to a consenting adult. It is not advice of any kind. If a call makes a joke about your spending, it is a joke.

Everyone on a call must be 18 or older. Senders attest their recipient is 18+, personally known to them, and that the gift is in good fun. Lying in the attestation is grounds for removal and forfeits refunds.

No call happens without the recipient's explicit, logged opt-in. Recipients can decline (sender gets re-gift credit), pause all future gifts, or opt out permanently with "Never gift me again" — the permanent tier cannot be reversed by any sender, ever. Consent can be withdrawn any time before the call. A pause isn't a life sentence: opting back in — to receive or send — takes one tap or a START text, and everything works again.

No harassment. No exes who've blocked you. No targets who've declined and haven't opted back in. No using roast content to demean protected characteristics. We suppress first and ask questions later. Repeat offenders lose the account.

All purchases are one-time (no subscriptions, nothing recurs). Prices include tax where required. If a call never happens — declined, expired, or our failure — you get credit or a refund, your choice, within 2 taps of contacting us. Free retry if a call goes to voicemail.

You own your recordings and may share them socially. By sharing, you confirm everyone audible consented to be recorded (they did — it's built in). Don't edit recordings to misrepresent what was said.

Self-roast pricing is per call. We may rate-limit unusual volume (nobody needs 40 roasts a day, and we worry about you).

The service is provided as-is. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months. We are not responsible for group chat fallout, bruised egos, or your family adopting the character's catchphrases.

We'll email you before material changes take effect. Continued use after that is acceptance. We keep prior versions available on request.
